Emerson College Rareworks - “Let Us Join Hands”

“Emerson College’s Student Theatre Company committed to amplifying the voices of new artists and stories through the production of new and rare works.”

“The idea for Let Us Join Hands did not only stem from faith culture and its effect on youth; it came from the impossible strive for perfection. The show frames this in the context of “purity”, or more-so, its fraudulence. In and out of religion, we self-criticize and twist ourselves into what we deem acceptable. We obscure, project and panic. Let Us Join Hands is the accumulation of everything harbored within, ripped out of an old, dusty door.” - Writer and Director Ellie Sebring
